Who needs a football team when the university can get Trevor Noah to perform in the UMBC Homecoming Comedy Show?? 😆 

I found a sign for my bakery 😂 on campus in the Commons while waiting for Trevor Noah’s show.— at Univ of Maryland Baltimore County.


Last pic while waiting for Trevor Noah’s Homecoming comedy show at daughter’s school. (No pics or videos of the show we’re allowed). Youngest son ended up going rock climbing and camping with the Boy Scouts so daughter’s classmate Alex Nguyen was able to make use of the extra ticket and joined us for a great show!

Book Club Tea Girl of Hummingbird Lane

Enjoyed NASCC (spouse club) book club last night. We discussed Lisa See’s The Tea Girl of Hummingbird Lane while sampling authentic pu-erh tea from the exact remote region of China where the book is set (thanks to Bana Tea’s book club tasting guide). It’s interesting, the author’s friend owns the Bana tea company and it is located on Colima Rd, just down the hill from my sister’s family and near Ben’s aunt and uncle in Hacienda Heights, CA. I’ll have to check it out the next time I’m there...I attempted to make sticky rice in the rice cooker (and turn them into rice balls to make it finger food) and also a marinated olive and cheese plate.
